Regional health librarian/technician attendance opportunity

Ramsay Medical Books & More have generously made available $750 in sponsorship to enable a regional health librarian/technician to attend the NSWHLF2007, by covering expenses such as travel, accommodation and forum registration fees.
This opportunity is open to any NSWHealth library staff member in
- Greater Southern Area Health Service
- Greater Western Area Health Service
- Hunter New England Area Health Service (north of Newcastle only)
- North Coast Area Health Service
- South Eastern Sydney/Illawarra Area Health Service (south of Wollongong only)
If you are interested in this opportunity, please send an application outlining why you should be the lucky recipient/s (maximum 250 words), by 5pm Friday 7th September.

The sponsorship will be judged by the NSWHLF2007 Planning Committee and awarded on the basis of
- financial need
- potential to introduce innovative projects/services in regional health libraries
- limited opportunities to attend previous library conferences/forums
The sponsorship will be awarded to a single workplace, but may be used to assist attendance by more than one staff member. Joint applications should be submitted on a single form.
Appropriation of awarded funds is at the discretion of the successful applicant, however attendance at the forum is compulsory and a registration form must be submitted by 21st September.
